Poly Problems is a community-powered app that lets Cal Poly students and staff report campus issues — from broken HVAC units and faulty door locks to dining outages and Wi-Fi dead zones — directly to the departments that can fix them.

Every report gets upvoted by the community, so the most impactful issues rise to the top. No more lost emails. No more wondering if anyone noticed. Just fast, transparent action on the things that matter most to campus life.

How it works

Hit the report button

Open Poly Problems and tap the report button from the main feed. It's always one tap away — no navigating through menus.

Fill out the details

Describe the issue, pin the location on campus, and attach photos if you have them. The more detail you add, the faster facilities, safety, dining, or IT staff can diagnose and resolve the problem.

Confirm and submit

Review your report and submit. It goes through a quick approval process before appearing on the community feed, where other students can upvote it — pushing the most important issues to the front of the line.
